Mishakal had Riverwind take the staff from Xak Tsaroth, where itwas guarded by the female black Dragon, Onyx also known asKhisanth.

Disks ofMishakal Written on several indestructible platinum disks are theteachings of Mishakal known as the Disks of Mishakal 1.These were part of the dragon Khisanths hoard in the broken cityof Xak Tsaroth.

They were later rescued by the Companions whopresented them to Elistan, who would become Chosen Prophet ofPaladine, head of the Holy Orders of Good.

The disks were kept in the Temple of Paladine, in Palanthas,where only good-hearted folk may read them - others receive quite ashock if they try to even touch the holy relic.
